The Ospreys

The Ospreys are one of the Welsh reigonal teams, orginally formed by Swansea and Neath, they were created in 2003 with the formation of the Celtic League and the Welsh regional sides. The Ospreys have become one of the top sides in the Northen Hemisphere with a celtic league title to boast, a host of Grand Slam winning Welsh Internationals and now a few British Lions players. The Ospreys play their home matches in both Swansea and Neath, In Neath they play at the Gnoll and in Swansea they previously played at St. Helens but with the brand new all seater sports stadium in Morfar they will be playing their matches there from the new season along with Swansea City FC.

From 05/06 onwards the Neath-Swansea Ospreys will lose the first part of their name to become just The Ospreys, a step taken by the club to inspire more support and passion between the old Neath/ Swansea fans as they embark on retaining their Celtic League Championship.
